1. What this service is

UnifiedAnalyst is an automated service. All analysis, figures, spreadsheets, presentations and written reports are produced by artificial intelligence systems, without human review by us. No accountant, auditor, attorney or other professional employed by us examines your documents or approves any output. Nothing produced is an audit, a review, an attestation, a tax filing, an accounting opinion, or legal or financial advice, and it must not be represented as one. You are responsible for reviewing every output before relying on it.

Every figure carries a citation to the rows of your own files it came from precisely so that review is possible. The system flags what it could not verify. Those flags are part of what you receive, and generated files carry a footer naming them as automated work.

2. Your account

You confirm the email address you register with is yours, and you keep your password to yourself. One free trial per person. Signing up with variations of the same mailbox to take the free tier again and again is not allowed, and we may close accounts that do it. Expensive actions wait until your address is confirmed.

3. Fees, automatic renewal and cancellation

Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel. A monthly plan is charged every month and a yearly plan every twelve months, at the price shown when you subscribed, plus any applicable sales tax. Billing runs through Stripe on Stripe's own pages, so your card details never touch our servers.

Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from your billing page, online, without calling anyone or filling in a form. We will never make you pass a retention offer to get there. Cancelling stops all future charges and keeps your plan running to the end of the period you have already paid for.

Reminders. When you subscribe we email you an acknowledgement setting out the renewal terms, the cancellation policy and a link to cancel. For yearly plans we email you again about 30 days before each renewal, naming the date and the amount, so a renewal is never a surprise.

Refunds. Payments already made are not refunded, except where the law requires it or where we have clearly got something wrong. Cancelling always keeps the time you have paid for, so nothing you bought is lost. Work that fails costs you nothing, because failed runs never count against any allowance.

Price changes. If a price changes we tell you at least 30 days before it takes effect, and it only ever applies from your next renewal. You can cancel before then and pay nothing further. Where the law where you live requires your fresh agreement to a price increase, or gives you a refund window after one, we follow that law rather than this paragraph.

Unusually demanding tasks may use more than one task credit. Plan prices and what they include are listed on the pricing page. Prices are in US dollars and exclude sales tax, which is added at checkout where it applies.

4. Your content stays yours

You keep every right to the documents you upload and the files produced from them. We claim no rights over your content beyond the limited license needed to run the service. That license covers storing your files, processing them to answer your requests, and showing you the results. You confirm you have the right to upload what you upload.

5. Retention and deletion

Uploaded files and the files built for you are kept for your plan's retention window and then deleted. The text read out of each file is deleted with them. Your answers, figures, citations and conversation stay. The Documents page shows a per-file countdown, and unless you turn that email off on your account page, we email you the day before files are removed. You can delete a document, a task, or your whole account at any time. Deleting your account removes your files and rows straight away.

6. Acceptable use

Use the service only on documents you are entitled to process, and not to break the law, to infringe others' rights, or to probe or disrupt the service itself. We may suspend accounts that do.

7. We are not accountants, and this is not advice

Simkins & Elgazar LLC is not a CPA firm and is not licensed to practice public accountancy. Nothing here is an audit, a review, a compilation, an attestation or an assurance engagement, and we do not issue opinions on financial statements. We perform none of those services and will not describe our work as though we had.

Nothing produced by this service is accounting, tax, legal, investment or financial advice, and using it creates no professional, fiduciary or client relationship. It does not replace a licensed CPA, attorney or adviser. If you are going to file it, borrow against it, or hand it to a lender, an investor, a board or a tax authority, have a qualified person check it first.

8. No warranty; capped liability

THE SERVICE AND EVERYTHING IT PRODUCES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "WITH ALL FAULTS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ANY FIGURE, DOCUMENT OR ANALYSIS IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE OR FIT FOR ANY PURPOSE, AND YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR REVIEWING EVERY OUTPUT BEFORE RELYING ON IT OR GIVING IT TO ANYONE ELSE.

To the maximum extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose; on the free plan that amount is zero. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

9. Changes

When these terms change in a way that matters, you are shown the new text and asked to accept it before continuing. The version you accepted, and when, is recorded on your account.

What we hold, where, and for how long

Your uploads, extracted data and deliverables are stored on servers in the United States. Files are deleted after your plan's retention window (see clause 5); internal processing logs, which can contain document content, are deleted on a schedule at least as short. Passwords are stored only as scrypt hashes, and stored credentials are encrypted at rest.

AI processing

When analysis requires an AI model, the content it needs is sent to a model provider to be processed. We only use providers that agree to two conditions, and we send those conditions with every request: they do not keep your content after processing, and they do not train on it. We do not train any model on your data either, and we do not sell or share it. When a request needs the web, only the search query goes to the search provider. Your documents never do. The security page lists what is switched on.

No trackers

These pages run no analytics, no trackers and no third-party scripts, and load nothing from anywhere else, fonts included. Emails telling you work has finished carry only that fact and a link. Your figures never travel by email.

Who else touches your data

We use a small number of companies to run the service. They may process your data only to provide it to you, never for their own purposes:

• AI model providers, reached through OpenRouter, which process the parts of your content an analysis needs. They are sent our conditions with every request, listed on the security page.
• Firecrawl, which fetches public web pages when a task asks for research. It receives the search terms and the addresses of the pages fetched, never your files.
• Amazon Web Services, which hosts the application.
• Supabase, which stores your files and the database, in the United States.
• Stripe, which handles payments. We see subscription state, never card numbers.
• Brevo, which delivers our email.

If we add or change one of these, this list changes with it. Ask us for the current list at any time and we will send it.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not use your content to train any model, ours or anyone else's. We run no advertising, and there is no third party we hand your data to for their own purposes.

Your rights, and how to use them

Whatever law applies where you live, we will do these for you: tell you what we hold, correct it, give you a copy, or delete it. You can already download your files at any time before their window ends, and delete your whole account from the Profile page, which removes your files and rows straight away.

For anything else, email support@unifiedanalyst.com. We answer within 45 days and usually far sooner. If you are in the UK or the EU you also have the right to object to processing, to ask us to restrict it, to receive your data in a portable form, and to complain to your data protection authority. Analysis is carried out by automated systems with no human review by us, which is stated in clause 1 and on every file we produce.
